Strategic Planning Project

Center-based Strategic Planning Projects form the heart of experiential learning in the second year. Three or four second-year students team up with a company in the region in order to explore a real growth opportunity or business challenge. This is not a simulation or hypothetical situation. This is about real issues and real solutions. At the end of the day, the student consultants are expected to deliver well-researched and well-founded recommendations that can be implemented.

Communication, teamwork, leadership are the keys to success in the SPP and business. That’s why the M.B.A. Program also emphasizes

  • Off-the-cuff speaking
  • Formal presentations
  • Effective business writing
  • Team dynamics
  • Project management
  • Consulting
